- This section of the program is used to design T or Pi resistive attenuators
- which can be used to match one resistance (say 50 Ω) to another (say 75 Ω)
- over a wide band - theoretically infinite, with any loss you require, subject
- to a minimum if the resistances are unequal. You can have the two resistances
- equal which is then a simple attenuator (say 6dB and 50Ω). If the two
- resistances are equal, you can have any attenuation you want. If the two
- resistances are unequal, the program can be asked to select the minimum loss
- consistant with matching the two resistances.
